This is one of the first pieces I made after I stopped painting for three years after having graduated from the Corcoran College of Art + Design, 2010.

I was exhausted by art school, even furious by it. I was lost, still kinda am. And the only professor that I felt was the closest to wanting to get to know my work was dying.
